Holy Catchup Batman! Do Something Productive Every Day Projects Days Number 8 through the 20th!:

Ok so, my fault, major catchup time! Between finding a place, packing, and Josh's birthday I have been super busy! So here are my catchup days!
Day 8 - June 12th: Cleaning, packing, and retrieving the information to be able to update my website! Also started a DeviantArt for the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Tumblr Blog, Summer Flight Camp, called, of course, summerflightcamp.
Day 9 - June 13th: More cleaning and some organizing. Spent some time sorting favorites on summerflightcamp.
Day 10 - June 14:  Clebrated Josh's Birthday!

We had a wonderful dinner at Market and then stayed at a local hotel with the coolest jacuzzi tub that overlooked the vineyards. It was nice to take a cool dip after such a hot day!

We also got news that the studio we where hoping to get was all ours!

Day11 - June15: Sorted through Summer Flight Camp's followed blogs, shaved it down to blogs that update mostly MLP:FIM stuff and ask blogs that are still relatively active.Spent some time sorting favorites on summerflightcamp.
Day 12 - June 16: Spent some time sorting favorites on summerflightcamp, orgonizing.
Day 13 - June 17:  Spent some time sorting favorites on summerflightcamp, and [though not something I did] Josh got his current tattoo finished! Also Livestreamed!

Day 14 - June 18: Got back into my main website! Updated my "Art for Others" folder on photobucket, switched a few files there to private, also made an example folder, with sub folders for sketches, colored sketches, inks, flat colored, and fully colored. Also Livestreamed!
Day 15 - June 19: Livestreamed!
Day 16 - June 20: Hmmm, I wonder what it is that I could be working on [Sorry about the covered up sticky notes!]?

Hmmm, I wonder what all these Polodroid edits could mean?

Day 17 -  June 21: Edits on Shallow Creek GO LIVE! Most photos have been reposted and new ones made. So far, I've only had the time to work on the first book of Shallow Creek, but soon I'll edit the second book, and get new content on the site as well! Also Livestreamed!
Day 18 - June 22: Livestreamed!
Day 19: June 23: Layed in bed sick, uploaded neat things to Summer Flight Camp. Also Livestreamed!
Day 20: June 24: Layed in bed sick, uploaded neat things to Summer Flight Camp.

The Do Something Productive Every Day Project Day Six and Seven:

For this portion of the post, pretend I'm posting this on the 10th, ok?

Today I spent a lot of time sleeping. I didn't sleep well due to thunderstorms. I was up until about 4:00AM, slept until around 5:00AM, and then woke up again some time around 8:00AM. So I spent most of the morning in a sort of "her der" stupor, but after a nice, long nap I felt motivated to do Stuff.

So I did some important, private, internet stuff, and then I worked on the HUGE blanket that's my current project, did the dishes, mopped the counters, brought my clean clothes downstairs, and cleaned up the guest bathroom. I mostly finished the blanket, and was working on putting the finishing touches on it by crocheting a rim around the blanket, but then my Mom suggested we watch the movie Dark Skies, and well... I got a bit sidetracked. :/ [Really interesting movie, by the by.]

Anyway, Today I am doing the border on the blanket, and once I trim the loose ends from it, it will be finished! Then I can stuff it in a very large box and wrap it, so its ready for its trip.

I might do other Productive Stuff today too, so there might be a Day Seven part two post during a more decent hour of the day.

That's all for now!

The "Do Something Productive Every Day Project" Catchup!

Will I ever do a thing-a-day project and actually remember to update something about it every day? It remains to be seen! These past days are not that day, unfortunatly.

Fortunately though, I have been doing the Project!

So the project started on June the 5th, and you can read that here. So on June....

6th) Worked on a white hair bow.
7th) Did boring, personal, internet stuff.
8th) Did some packing.
9th) Added an entire ball of yarn to my current, secret project. After I do some more, boring, personal, internet stuff, I'll probably keep on working on this project until bed time.

And now we're caught up! Hopefully I can better keep doing a post for each day from now on. We'll see!!!

The "Do Something Productive Every Day Project" - Day One!

Well today marks the first day of the "Do Something Productive Every Day Project" or the DSPED.

Starting early, early this morning I completed several 4 shell Granny Squares, I made the body for an aqua colored squid, attached the legs and tentacles to the Neapolitan squid, and made a teal colored medium colored bow.

I also did lots of stuff on the internet that will really effect no one but me and how much of a load I've put myself in the position of having to deal with over the years.

I've got a to do list running and am excited for the mental health this project has been bringing me before it was official, and what it will do for me in the future! I hope you all enjoy!

Has it Really Been Since 2011?!:

First and foremost, wowzers it's been a long time since I updated this blog!

I haven't gone off to live in the Shire [though I wish that was an option!], I just got caught up with other projects. I had forgoten this blog even existed, then I was reminded when helping my Grandma Gabby/Diane of Let's go Cook Italian with her own shiny new blogger page. check it out, its got all kids of Italian recipes and factoids you can't find anywhere else. One of my photos is even featured in her latest post.

I'm still not sure what to do with this website or if I'll even keep it up, but we'll see as certain events come up in the coming months.

As far as news goes, I've started fresh on my various art websites, first by taking down all my old things, and am taking a sort of sabatical right now when it comes to posting most places. I can't say why, just that it's not really my choice and that I miss being in the loop with all my friends and the artists and writers I admire. These events have also unfortunately ground the Super Secret Project to a screeching halt.

You can still tool around on my various accounts if you like, just visit the link page on my website. If you want to pursue my writing adventures you can check that out by clicking here. My website has also had another miniature makeover. It's going to get a facelift soon.

Wishing you all shade and sweet water,

Good News Everyone!

Many exciting things are happening!

First, and probably most important, all of my entries on my art journal are now public, so you can read them without a livejournal account! That means you can see lots more of my art and see my writing directory page! My art journal also has a spiffy new look for fall.

Plans are underway for a website rehaul, so in the mean time, the website has had an update in the form of a serious slim down, check it out.

Also, my DA is no longer dead, there's a flood of new art over there with some more to go up over the next few days.

And all of this doesn't even touch whats going on with my room and work space right now, but I'll save that for the next SSP post. ;)
